ROUGH-TOOTHED DOLPHIN

In warm temperate and tropical waters, herds of up to 50 rough- toothed dolphins skim the open sea, although the average group size is only 6. Sometimes, they team up with pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins, probably diving for deep-sea squid, octopuses and fish.

Food: Fish, deep-sea octopuses, squid and mollusks
